Grown up advertising

Advertising agencies have a certain distinction when it comes to their offices….they generally comprise of the wacky, with splashes of creative genius and the downright silly (see slides, beds, padded war rooms etc.) so you may feel a refreshing sense of calm when you see GREY London’s office, in Hatton Garden.

Designed by BDG Workfutures with N9W’s Scott Compton* leading the project, GREY opted for a mature, timeless approach to the design of their workplace. Using a muted backdrop of whites and greys, alongside materials such as oak and concrete, the scheme relies on its people and output to bring the vibrancy to the space.

The office has an open cafe/bar at ground level which is anchored by the reception (huge doughnut desk) and overlooked by the suite of meeting facilities above, providing an all inclusive social space.

Bespoke furniture solutions are in place for the creative’s upstairs, with giant coloured dots on the glazing to add a subtle dose colour in the office areas. GREY pride themselves on being a serious player in the ad world, and this is a seriously laid back space.

Wow! Looks beautiful. Assume that Grey were running an anti-violence against women campaign at the time… hope images of beaten women aren’t considered art these days… :)
